Affiliate Manager: Auto-Track Affiliates via Attribution in “Add Manual Sales For An Affiliate” workflow action

We’re excited to introduce significant improvements to the “Add Manual Sales For An Affiliate” action within workflows! With this update, you can now seamlessly track and assign manual sales to affiliates using attribution tracking.

👀 What’s New?

  1. Auto-Track Affiliates via Attribution: Automatically link manual sales to the correct affiliate by tracking their unique affiliate ID in the URL.
  2. First and Latest Attribution Support: Choose between the first and latest attribution to determine how the system assigns sales to affiliates.

👷 How It Works:

  1. Select the Action: Choose “Add Manual Sales For An Affiliate” in your workflow.
  2. Enable Auto-Tracking: Toggle on the AUTO-TRACK AFFILIATE VIA ATTRIBUTION option.
  3. Select Attribution Type: Decide whether to use the first or latest attribution for tracking.
  4. Choose Campaign: Pick the relevant affiliate campaign.
  5. Enter Sales Details: Input the sales amount, event date (optional), and event ID (optional).
  6. Save the Action: Finalize your setup to ensure accurate affiliate commission tracking.

🌟 Why it Matters:

  • Streamline Workflow: No need to create separate branches for each affiliate. The workflow automatically identifies the affiliate through their ID in the URL.
  • Accurate Commission Tracking: Ensures that commissions are calculated according to the campaign’s default settings and assigned correctly.

Some Use Cases:

  • Automate Recurring Manual Commissions: Automatically assign manual sales and commissions to an affiliate on a periodic basis. This is particularly useful for recurring sales that occur outside the system or are not tracked by the system, ensuring affiliates receive their commissions consistently.
  • Track Offline Sales: Capture and credit sales made offline or through channels not tracked by Bizmated. By automating manual sales entries, you ensure that all affiliate-driven sales are accounted for, enhancing the accuracy of your commission tracking.
  • Reward Affiliate Engagement: Automatically add manual sales to recognize and reward affiliates for non-monetary contributions or specific achievements. This can include actions like attending training sessions, providing exceptional customer support, or generating high-quality leads.
